When i set up my Aquarium i bought a water filter from lfs. Seemed to work great . Its made by aquarium pharmaceuticals. Heres the problem today i went to one of my water jugs (there clear) i can see little green dots in bottom of jug, Looks like something from in side filter. Anyone have a idea what it is? And will it hurt tank and live stock? Thanks Dewey

Could be one of the resins has come out of the filter. Did you run it for a couple gallons after putting on a new cartridge before collecting the product water?

I have no Idea if it wouls harm the tank, I would filter them out, the water passes over them for filtering, so it should leave anything in the FW, but don't know what the corrosive properties of SW would do to it...

I think that is what it is . Ill have to find something to filter them out with.
