Hi all..

Moving across the country in a couple weeks. Have everything planned out for transporting and getting things re-set up after arriving.

The only question I have is about the water. I plan on keeping about 50 % of my old water. Some of the water will be in the tub with my live rocks and live stock with a heater and air pump.

The other part of the water will be placed in 5 gallon buckets for the
transport. How long will the water be ok in the buckets without movement or anything? My drive time will hopefully only be a little over 24 hours.

Any help or advice is appreciated!

What about 7 days? This is a great question I hadn't thought about. I am moving my tank from WA state to Virginia. I plan on having lots of water made up here before I go though. Sorry hate to steal your thread.

you can always look into getting battery operated pumps, or getting an AC adapter for your car to plug the pumps into. Good luck with the move (to both of you!). I moved my 20 gal a few miles away and that was a "fun" ordeal.
