Water movement formula.

I've been finding some literature recommending 10x volume of the tank to determine the amount of water flow needed (ex. 75 gal tank=750 gph recommended flow). Is this still the recommended formula for a reef tank or would you guys recommend different?

IMO, 20x-30x turnover per hour is best, so 1500gph-2250gph.

Keith let your livestock be your guide. Zoa's and LPS's could get by with 10x, but if you want to get into SPS's then thoms 20x-30x is the rule.
