Water source

I strated my tank with tap water and added the dechlorinator. When adding more water due to evaporation I am now using water fromt he store machines. The ones you can put your 5 gal. bottles under. I was told that water would be fine, but after reading the forums all i hear about is RO and that is a little expensive right now. Am I ok? Do I still need to add dechlorinator? They say its clean "pure water" with nothing added. Any opinions, suggestions or advice are greatly appreciated.

The water at the store i go to is RO. The one at yours might be too. Look and see if it says anywhere.

Should be RO water at the stores.

If it is RO my LFS suggests adding osmo prep prior to miking with salt.

Thats affirmative, the machine says it uses RO.
