Water storage

I have a question about water storage, I currently have a 30g trash can full of RODI water i keep onhand for water changes and top-offs.

i am thinking about making that storage pre mixed SW instaed of keeping it reg RODI water... what do you think?

i dont have the room to have another 30G trash can sitting beside my tank or i would.. i was just wondering how i should aproch this...

also what do you guys use to keep your water moving? (reg power head) and is it a must to keep it moving? and is there a time frame i should use the stored water before it goes bad? I say go bad only because it seems to collect an odor from the trash can(new) smells like plastic.
