ways of getting rid of chlorine...

I've heard that if you put a ph in your water while it's mixing the salt it will also get rid of the Chlorine. Is this true? I'm just trying to get away from using the water decon. because I think it maybe what is causing my skimmer to over flow. TIA!

Chlorine generally leaves water in 24hrs. It is the chloramine that will not come out of the water on its own if the local water supply adds it.

Are you going to use RO/DI?

Well I have a DI unit but it says its only good for 25-125 gals depending on the tds. I do want to get an RO/DI unit but I'm saving up for MH's right now because I have a 75 gal that I need/want to get setup soon. I can go buy RO/DI but its clear on the other side of town. I may have to though if this keeps up.
