...turning my eclipse filter into an in-tank refugium? Here is the idea. My filter realy doesnt do that much, so I was thinking of making a plexi tank the size of the frame my filter pad sits in. I would cut out the bottom of the filter pad holder and atach the tank with acrylic cement. Then, I would cut out and create a small black cover section for one of those 10 watt PC that hook up to a normal ligtbuld fixture. I will add pictures to diagram my plan. So, what do you guys think? I know I will get up people saying the "No! what are you thinking, impractical, blah blah", but I would appreciate some repsonses taking this seriously. I think it would be very cool, because the refugium would dip into the tank and so it would be like picture in a picture for tanks.
