What?!? BTA ate my blood shrimp!!

My BTA ate my blood shrimp!! Has anybody ever heard of this happening. The shrimp must of made him angry because my two cleaner shrimp are always by my BTA and there's never been a problem. Lost for words, he was a pretty big shrimp too, you would think he would be able to get loose. hope my BTA enjoyed his $25 meal... I don't even eat that good

I thought it might have at first. But now I'm %100 sure it's not the molt... He finally spit the shrimp out 10minutes ago after lights out

Thats what an anemone does if something gets close enough it will sting and eat.

It is unfortunate, but anemones are predators by nature. As bavass said, if something gets to close, it will eat it. My brother had a condy anemone a while back and the thing stung and ate his 5 inch spotted sweetlips. Anemones are as deadly as they are beautiful.
