What can you tell me about SW?

Hey all,
I am about to start working at specialty fish store in my area and I know my knowledge on SW is lacking. It's really just something I've never experimented in due to the general cost/time associated with it.
Are there any bits of info you can all share that would help me out great.

I know a few things like a fish less cycle is normally best for SW, strong current is preferred, fish compatibility is a larger focus and that nems like to move around a lot (thanks Caleb).
