what did my snail do?

Yesterday on of my margarita snails spent most of the day stationary on the glass, it wasnt really doing much. This morning in the same spot there is a slimy patch about the size of the snail with a dark brown interior section, looke kinda like an egg. What is this? Ill try to post a pic when I get home from work.

Its probably eggs. My Cerith snails do it all the time. It may look different, being a different species but here is a pic.

have you sucessfully raised any baby snails? If this happened to be eggs, how should I care for them?

No luck, actually I think my fish eat them.
It may be possible but sorry, I don't know the proceedure.

I current have only one very skittish yellow clown goby who lives in my powerhead 8O 8O , the little guy is suicidal, but he sure loves his happily humming home (anyone see this type of behavoir?). So maybe they will survivie? How long till the baby snails "hatched"?
