Just wondering what it requires to house clams?? I think they look amazing and someday want to be able to have one. Thanks in advance.

Basically the same requirements as SPS coral. High light, low nutrients, proper levels of calcium, alk and mag and moderate flow.

There are several fish that will pick at them, angels, CBBs, etc, so definately check into that.

Like said above, with good lighting, flow, and water quality, they're quite easy to maintain. I have 3 and love them.

another fish to watch out for with clams are damsels. The only one I have had problems with are velvet damsels and he killed it before I could catch him
