what is the brown dust like algae

i have this brown like dust like algae that when i baster, it just relocates. Basically i have to baster my powerhead everyday because they get overrun with algae or dust, its all over my tank all over my rocks

i do a water change every week and use ro/di water, is there anything i can get to eat this algae? it literally just looks like dust and looks no different than a dusty tv on some parts of my glass

Usually this happens with new tanks. They're called diatoms. Google images and see if it's the same thing. It will go away when all the silicates in your sand bed are gone - no worries.

def not diatoms ive had them before, and my tank is 1 year old
