What is the most expencive fish youve seen?

About 5 years ago I worked in a fish store in NY We maintaned this tank in a resturant that was 800 gal the owner who cold buy anything he wants had the tank stocked with all types of fish including a conspicous angle ... one day he decided he did not want all the fish he had and wanted a shark.. so he gave away the fish in his tank i took a few including the angle so i got a fish for free were at the time they went for abt $900.. ( i guess they went up in price) thats my story

Wow, I've seen those Angels only once or twice and the price tag was about $1200! How did he fare in your tank?

i had it for about 6 months then sold it for about $600
