These small white dots are randomly dispersed throughout my tank, I usually have to scrape them off, they kinda look like tiny white conical shells, and idea, and can they stay or should I continue to scrape them off during water changes ?

Huh, I have no idea except that I have three little white dots on my driftwood that look similar. I will try to take a pic to compare later.

I am guessing Flatworms. Just a guess but when my glass looked like that it was flatworms. There are two types and the all white ones aren't that harmful.

Mine look similar, except they are in my freshwater tank. Something else?

I'm unsure, I'm going to head by my local store " Coral Reef" and they should know. Ill let ya know what they say and if it is possible to have in both systems.

Sweet! I'm bringing a snail back to my lfs, Brown's Eco Aquarium, they have lots of salt water tanks and ill show the pics I took and see if they know anything.

They're a type of feather duster. They stay small and help filter your water. I'd leave them if I were you at least in the back unless they're bothering you.
