Got a peppermint two days ago and the aiptasia is gone! Happy days!

Amazing isn't it? I never saw it actually eating any - they just disappeared. Haven't seen any in days.

Is this a case of aptasia too?

ever since I introduced the pink carnation into the tank is has had this ugly snappy stem but looks like is hasn't been spreading and is even coexisting quite well , to my knowledge, with the branch its beside. It would be nice to get rid of it because is definitely the ugly duckling compared to is elegant neighbor but if it doesn't do harm I guess it's not really Aptasia am i wrong?

I think your in the clear patty looks more like a feather duster coming out of that white tube

Doesn't look like aiptasia. Maybe feather duster, but to me looks like an off shoot of that coral.
