I have had a coral in my aquarium for a month....i thought it was dead...paid like 1$ for it.

Anyways i have always noticed that there is some green plant in it. Today i moved it and thought the plant fell off....I was wrong it is some living being. It has like 2 arms that look like christmas trees...{kinda} and a stem that extends as long as the trees, looks like a head or something with no face.

I cant get a pic right now cuzz of a crummy digicam i bought.

anyways this thing lives in a hole after moving it...it goes in the hole. a minute after putting it down it slowly comes back out and extends as far as it can. when it gets scared it goes away very very fast.

thanx!
Daryl

it doesnt look like a mantis shrimp but thanx very much for the effort. it looks like it is stationary and is planted in the hole. the tree looking things look more like feather dusters, but green and inlayers tapering like a xmas tree.

Sounds like it could be a christmas tree or coco worm.

One of these :?:
