What kind of cowrie?

I found a cowrie in my tank tonight, at least that is what I think it is...can anyone id the species? I know some are not good to have with corals.

Looks like a tiger cowrie Cypraea tigris. Usually only a problem with sponges and is mainly a herbavor. I kept one once and found they also have a taste for anemones. They will "munch" on their foot and retractor muscle.

and of course, a more immediate threat would be just that they are large snails and will be able to plow a pretty formiddable rock from your reef 8O
