What piece of equipment best to get next?

Tank has been setup close to a year now, and i'm working two jobs this summer, main job to save money for after college and part time job for money to spend on girlfriend and this addicting hobby.

I'm looking into one of these 3 things and want to know which would give me the greatest benefit: RO/DI filter unit, Remora Protein Skimmer, 10-20g sump for under my stand.

Most of these are within the same price range , which one am i best off getting and why?

yea i'm thinking the RO/DI also, hopefully thatll cut down on my brown algae problem, if it werent for the brown algae my tank would be pristine.

if you can buy ro/di water from a LFS or supermarket, i would get the good skimmer first. if your only option is tap, then the unit first. the sump is more of a preference thing, to hide equipment, add volume, etc. and isnt actually necessary, although i do recommend them. just my opinion though
