Hey guys my father and I have a 55 gal. saltwater tank, and were runnin a HOB filter right now. Not really liking it at all, the water looks dirty. We went to the LFS and the guys there said we should try a sump. Whats the smallest size sump that i can use. I have a 10 gal. tank in my basement just chillen.... could that work? TIA

do you have a proteim skimmer? if not you might one to think of getting one

A tote is always a option to save money.

If you can get it to fit, 11" wide is hard to find :( Most have to diy or pay $$$ for one that does fit. Getting an 18"+ wide tank/stand next time :king:

I have a 55 gal reef ready tank and a spare 55 and 30 lying around. I plan on using the spare 55 as a sump for the reef ready only because it will fit nicely in the bottom of the stand. Than I am going to either get another 30 for a sump on the 30 or just make the 30 a fw setup.
