what to feed inverts?

i just got a feather duster and need to know what to feed it. my lfs suggested kent phyto plex or something like that. I also plan on getting corals clams and zoo's down the road so if you could give me some suggestions on what to feed them and on what kind of schedule should i make to feed them.

I feed mine phyto every now and again, but he seems to do well enough on whatever is in the tank. He usually has a large meal once a week when I scrape algae off of the glass. I have also seen him eat small newly hatched brine shrimp.

Feather dusters are filter feeders. I like DTs live plankton. It is a great food for filter feeders.
