Ok finally figured out the plumbing and have hooked up a thirty gallon tank to my main a 75 gallon tank. Now what to put in it. Lets assume I have whatever lighting needed.
It has a sand substrate and I would assume some lr wound make a good start but what from there.
75g is equipped with four phs circulating 700 gph; an emperor 400 HOB, another HOB rated for 30 gallon tank that has no media that I use strictly for added flow and surface agitation and a protein skimmer.
30 gallon has a HOB rated for 30 gallon tank and the power head for return flow is in there but thats not adding any flow to the fuge of course. I am in FL so I shouldn't need a heater until some time in January.
