I already have the Coralife Fluorescent Ballast System for my fuge

What I need to know is what bulbs to put in. It will take T-12 or T-8
Im gonna have live rock, sand and mangroves in the fuge so what type of bulbs should i use?
6500k, 10,000k, actinic ?

Like the others have said, there are much cheaper ways to light a fuge. But that's not exactly what you asked, since you already have that lamp. I would say *not* actinic. Either 10,000k or 6500k would be fine IMO. I have a regular CF bulb over mine, but it's 6500k. I have sand, LR, and mangroves in my sump.

The coralife came with my tank. I upgraded to T-5 and just had it sitting around so I thought I could use it for the Fuge. Im going to get two tubes one 6500K and one 10,000K. Does that sound good? or should I just get two 6500K
