Whats beter for water flow

I have a marine land maxi jet and was wondering what would be better for my 55 gal the powerhead set up or the circulation set up?

Circulation mode is best.

Which size maxijet?

600 is what i got just one think its enough

Ok. 600 in circulation mode is fine. Just making sure you didn't go oversized with a 1200.

You may want more flow. Especially if you have corals. I would recommend skipping another maxijet and getting something with magnet mount. The suction cups eventually become a pain as they tend to not stick that well after a while. I use my maxijets as utility pumps now.

The circulation pump is on now and the humming is so annoying

Also is the 900 which does 1000 gph to much for this 55 gal tank looks like the fish are flying around ha

Yes. The 600 is the largest maxi you should put in your size tank. 900 is too much.

And I never experienced any humming with my mj's. Make sure you have the outer housing on all the way so there is no rattling.

If i squeeze the bottom of the faceplate it goes away weird
