What is better for an under cabinet filter - the larger MarineLand bio-wheel2, or a wet/dry trickle filter with bio-balls?

I plan to add one of them to a 100 gallon tank that already has (2) Emperor 400's (I want overkill). Is that enough aeration?

Thanks,
Mitch

The question would be is this going to be a reef setup or fish only?

For Reef, you will most likely not want either one for bio-filtration. (This would be acheived in LR and Sand)

For Fish only, you can use either or both if you wish.

Trickle Filters are much more efficient than Bio-Wheels. (More surface area)
