Whats the best weir,overflow,standpipe?

Whats the best weir,overflow,standpipe?

Hiya guys i am sorting out my new tank and thinking what to do with it, as this thread:

http://www.aquariumadvice.com/viewto...=177059#177059

and for the overflow was thinking of using a durso stanpipe, the dual standpipes in one overflow chamber.

But was wondering what you guys think of these overflows, and whether they are as quite as everyone says they are.

Thanx Andrew

Durso's take up a lot of room in the weir because of the elbow. If you dont have the room use the stockman design, both work great. I have 2 Durso's and 1 Stockman in mine.

They are both quiet, it all has to do w/ room in your weir.

yeah i amgoing to be making the weirs in the tank so can make them anysize.

would it be best to have two weirs with one durso in each,

or one weir with 2 dursos in, as would the one wier get enough flow into it to feed both the dursos?
