What's this Brown stuff?

I'm pretty sure I've got some Coraline Algae going, it's pinkish purple and there's little spots and growths all over my LR. However, I finding little brown spots on my glass and some foggy areas as well. The spots come off with some effort and my fingernail, however the foggy or cloudy areas on the glass just disappear with a rubbing of my fingertip. All comments and thought appreciated.

Probably diatoms. To be expected on a new tank. They'll disappear once the silicates in the substrate are consumed.

Starting to see an explosion of lime green, yellow, pink, and purple. The Coraline to exploding all over the place, so awesome to watch!
