Whats this? Thought it was coralline!

I've looked a little closer at what I thought was purple/pink coralline but this looks like its got an opening like a sponge! It looks like it could be soft, slimy, fuzzy (no I haven't touched it).... Doesn't appear to be hard like the other coralline in my tank.

Have a clue where it may of come from? I do have a purple sponge but looks different in color.

They just pop up seemingly out of no where. I have some massive green ones in my sump. I just noticed them today....they are about 6" x 3". Pretty awesome.

Its a sponge good to have, the are filter feeders and help keep water clean

Yep, sponges are great to have and shouldn't be a nuisance.
