Hey i'm looking to add some more coral to my 30 gal. Any suggestions? Or just say what coral fascinates you the most.

I love the open brains, a new coral to me. I think they're beautiful to look at, interesting to watch change shape etc...and a good way to pretty up the substrate area.

I like gorgonians but some of my favs are torch and hammer coral. Also bubble coral is really cool. Colt coral adds fantastic color and is definitely one of my favorits.

I have to say I really enjoy zoos. I love seeing new polyps and the colors that you can get are unreal.

i like the suggestions, the pictures were awesome! @hind04, i agree i have two colonies of zoas going, they're great!

For ease of care I say softies like leathers and mushrooms. For movement go with lps like frogspawn, duncan or torch. For a challenge go for sps start with monties and go into acros.

What type of light and how long your tank has been set up will have a lot to do with what you will want to put in it.

I love my colt, zoas, and ricordeas. All of the easiest ones! Torches are cool too though. I'm cycling a 29 gallon, and here are the corals that I want.

Zoanthids
Rainbow Ricordea
Green Candy Cane
White Pom Pom Xenia
Green Tip Toadstool
Frogspawn
Torch
Birdsnest

I really like my hammer - it has grown tons in a few months.

An under-rated, in my opinion, coral is the Pagoda cup coral. I bought one the other day, and I must say the way the polyps open up and wave in the current has made this one of my favorites in my tank. Just awesome.

i'm an lps fan also. anything that will eat meaty foods is amazing to me. also, something that looks completely different when the lights are off is also awesome-

Elegance & other LPS are great, I really love the Colour & diversity of SPS though too.

I prefer LPS also but really love my leathers that are very easy (almost hard to kill) that grow and reproduce even though my tank is certainly not pristine as far as water conditions go.
