Whatta folks think of "in tank" fuges. Smaller bu

I've seen some in-tank fuges that seem like a good option. Also helps in acclimation. Also, seems far easier and cheaper but are their smaller volumes effective?

Even a small-volume fuge will be beneficial to your tank. Bigger would be better of course.

I'd say to go for it.
180 gal Acrylic, 250 lbs Fiji/Tonga mix, 3x175 watt MH & 2X96 watt PC, 1/5hp Arctica chiller, EV-180 skimmer
Brown Tang, mated pair Clowns, 4 Fire Gobies, 13 Chromis, Orangespotted Sleeper Goby

Some corals and inverts yet to be identified!
