Where to find Mrs. Wages pickling lime???

Anyone live in chicago and know where to find Mrs. Wages pickling lime???

I really have no idea. Perhaps you should try a new thread that does not specify the chicago region, so that you might get a few more hits, to find out a mail order place.

Just go to http://shop.store.yahoo.com/mrswages/mrswagpiclim.html and order it directly from them that is what I did. I got 4 pounds for like $12. Works good too!

You should be able to find it at any major grocery store. There is also Ball pickling lime that is just as good. Look in the canning section.

To pickle fish when they've finally grown to a perfect snack size. This way they don't grow any bigger and you store them for a long time.
