Which (what temp) MH bulbs?

I have a dual 175W MH fixture (350 total watts) on my 55 gal. What K-temperature bulbs would you folks suggest?

I'm thinking 1 each 10k and 14k. Sound good or should I go with two 14k? TIA

Since you will have 2 of them, which will cover 2 feet each I would keep them the same. It will look really strange otherwise IMO. The 2 14K bulbs would look great if you like the white tones with a nice hint of blue. I went with these since they are right in the middle of white/blue. HTH

I agree w/ salttanker. If your not using 03 supplements, IMO 14k is a good bulb.

Runway i was thinking about doing a set up like yours on my 55. I was wondering if you had a problem with your lights raising the temp on you tank, and do you have them under a hood or pendents or what?

Under hood with ballast under the stand. Hood is well vented except no fans.

I've tried 10k, 20k, and 14k. I really liked the 14k Giesmann bulb i have.

For me the 14k achieved the perfect coral flourescence look.
