Hi,
Have an established 2.5 yr old 190 ltr marine tank with an ammonia reading of just under 0.25ppm any ideas y or how i can reduce it? thanks:confused:

Got to tell us a lot more. new tank? Cycling? What's in it? Anything disappeared lately? Have no idea how to help you without a lot more information.

How'd you get that name, by the way?? :)

What type of source water are you using. Make a batch of SW and let it set a day or two and then do water test on it before you do a PWC with it. If you are using tap water you might be adding it to your tank yourself.

Please follow Mike's suggestion to start with your source water check. While doing that please post full tank parameters.

Have you owned this setup for 2½ years or did you get it from someone else and move it?

What type of filtrations are you using (Live Rock, canister or HOB filter, etc.)?
Describe the lighting units (type bulbs, total wattage, and age of the bulbs)
What are the current water parameters? Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, salinity, temp, calcium and alkalinity. Please post numbers of results.
What are the current tank inhabitants?

Oooh. Says right there! "2.5 year old...tank"! Geeez Ray!

Didja clean any prefilters/sponges in the system anywhere? Large fish disappear?

Another thing. If all inhabitants are doing well, might wanna suspect your test kit and get another test. LFS or new test kit. What kind are you using BTW and how old is it?
