Since I've recently purchased a scooter blenny, I decided that I needed to also purchase some live pods
. During the day, I can't see them; but at night they are all over the place. If I shine a flashlight into the tank, I can literally see thousands swimming around. This is the interesting part, when I place the flashlight in a stationary position; the pods
will congregate right by the light. It's not a small number either. There's about three hundred pressed against the glass right by the light. It's like a mosquito attracted to a bug zapper.
Is there any scientific reason why the pods
congregate towards the light?
