that's why, for the algae and detritus eating. A good rule of thumb is to not get big snails if you have corals. Cerith's do a good job of glass cleaning and sand sifting. nassarius do a good job of detritus eating, just make sure you get small ones. Oh, also, conchs, although large, do a good job of sand sifting, but i'm not sure if theyu are notorius for coral bashing or not.
