Why does my refugium look like this??

Hey guys just set up my ref about a month ago and put some spagetti and red macros in and im getting a lot of hair algae and diatoms why is that??? run my refu lights almost 24/7 and only run my actinics on my main tank

I think it's suppose to be that way....

I agree, the diatoms will burn themselves out. They thrive off of silicates and lights.
