Very nice set up. He eats frozen and will swim up walls and even swims up the water column to get food

If he eats frozen I think he will be ok.

I see. Make a screen top, BRS has everything you need for it, or you can buy is from a hardware store. That should keep him in.

I was looking at them. I plan on doing some upgrades soon

If I didn't have a canopy I would have made one. I put up netting in the back just in case one tries out that way. So far nothing has jumped.

I have a canopy and that's a great idea. I can just staple some screening to the open area in the back

Tomorrow when the Aquarium lights are on I'll take a pic of how I did it..
Right now I will not be able to get a good pic

I'm just going to get a fine mesh screen and put Velcro on it and the canopy. Then I can take it off if I need to. But pics of yours would help too
