Will the Emerald Crab die?
Well the reason I ask is he has buried himself inside the lr somewhere where my fingers can't reach.
I have been aquascaping a bit and I don't want to kill him by covering up his escape hole but my efforts to get hit out have been fruitless. I have heard about a fw dip but that just seems a bit unnecessary to me. I also worrying about him fouling the tank. Will he just find a way out? I didn't buy him he was a hitchhiker on some lr from the lfs but I'd like to keep him around if possible. Last edited by GodOSoot; 02-15-2008 at 04:10 PM. |

He should be able to get out as long as you dont cover up the hole.

He should be ok. He may have molted and is hiding while his shell hardens.

Update:
He poked his head out of the aquascape so he appears fine but I'm starting to wonder if he really is a Emerald Crab, not really green at all, mostly just brown. |
