Hello,
I noticed that I have a nice little patch of Halimeda growing on some live rock. This is in my 20g reef tank with LPS, SPS, and soft corals. Should I remove it? I have heard its similar to caulerpa, and we all know what it does...

Should I be worried? I dont run any fuge, so I cant keep 24/7 lighting on it.
Thanks,
Matt

Will I need to eventually remove it/some to avoid it going nuts on me? I have a 20g tank, so I worry about the levels of toxicity that can occur from things. Any warning signs? I read that it tends to behave itself when calcium is good. Mine is high at 480ppm with Alkalinity at 10dKH.

You probably down the road will have to remove/prune some as nothing eats it. It will take some time though.
