I purchased some shrooms. about 6 or 7 grouped on a "rock" Then the rock moved. I watched quietly for a while and the rock opened up. I got a clam of some sort. About 2 1/2 in by 1 1/2 by 1 1/2. I don't have a camera or I'd post a pic. Is there some where that I might be able to ID it?
And which is the hitchiker?

I don't know a pic would definitely help. However a non-photosynthetic bivalve requires feeding for long term survival.

In this instance, I would say the clam, you bought the shrooms, the clam was unintended
