The LFS sold me this fellow saying it was a burrowing worm and the tenticles are it's crown. After looking online for a while, I'm thinking it may be a tube ananome. The tenticle don't retract and seem to reach out on their own. Any ideas what this is??

I'm going to have to agree with you guys. It's a tube anemone. Any suggestions or ideas on how to keep it happy without it digesting the rest of it's tankmates?

If you are feeding the tank for fish, they will for the most part get what they need. This type of anemone is not a zooxanthellae animal and requires solid foods so be sure it gets fed. You can also suppliment them with krill, silversides, shrimp, scallops or other meaty marine foods if you do not think it's getting enough. A small amount once or twice a week should be plenty.

Cheers
Steve
