Is there types of wrassels that get along with hermit crabs, as odd as it sounds, we like our hermit allot, he adds humor to our tank. but I am also found of wrassels, because they swim allot and adds life and movement. Umm is there any wrassels out there that are crab / shrimp safe, or are they all aggressive..

The best wrasse for that consideration would be a carpenter/flasher wrasse. They will not attack mobile inverts of any kind. They generally do best in mated pairs or preferabley "harmens". In a 30 gal tank I would only opt for one though. If you do decide to get one, be aware that any colorful male will most times switch to the more drab female as they age due to the abscence of the "group".

One type of fish that is very colorful and still similar in behavour are dottybacks. They are quite active and very colorful. Again for a 30 gal tank, I would anly choose one.

Cheers
Steve
