Just wondering any of u ever saw ur Xenia start losing the "hands" I mean the flower looking top part and left only the "branch"?
Cuz right now my Xeniia start losing them one by one. Are they reproducing or just some problem with it? I had some other type of Xeniid and they did the same thing to spread to other place of the tank not sure about my waving hand this time.

I would like to hear why too... My Zenia lost a few heads to, eighter by itself or its being eaten.

Have you checked your pH. They are supposed to be really, realy sensitive to drops in pH.

I just got a few colonies of pulsing xenia lat week. I could sit and watch them for hours.

alk is 10 ph is 8.0-8.3 can't be any bette than that, but when i read something from WWM they said the losing top is normal in xenia's live.It will grow back in a while.
