yellow balls...?

Hey...I was just observing my tank when I saw this yellow ball about the size of a BB maybe. I don't know how it got there or where it came from, but does anybody know what it is???
 
could it be a type of sponge or algae? just a thought!

Yeah...it is the same color and everything, but it doesn't look like a ball. This actually looks like a little tiny ball...I'll try to take a decent picture...
 
I know you keep saying yellow, but if it has a greenish tinge to it and looks smooth and shiny the size of a BB then you may have the beginnings of Valonia or bubble algae. Bubble algae looks neat but can become a nuisance. Post a pic and you'll get a more positive ID. :)
