Not really risky, in my opinon... like I said, mine had no issues for around 3 years. It just decided to see what life was like on the other side of the glass. Stuff happens. Think it must've jumped when I opened the lid to dose alk/ca in the morning, and it's so small I didn't hear or notice it.

I'll definitely be replacing it! It was a favorite of the kid/wife/mother-in-law!
