I just bought yellow polyps for my first coral and have 29 gal with dbl bio wheel filter with t5 ho lamps I have 30 pounds of live rock and for fish I have white sleeper goby, clown, royal gramma, coral beauty dwarf angel, and Sailfin tang. I feed them mainly pellets and frozen brine shrimp....just started feeding the tang some seaweed strips. Was bad diet why tang was looking all discolored around head? For coral I have the marine snow target fed twice a day. People at store say I don't need power head due to my oversized filter for tank. It does make for great flow.

That is alot of fish for a 29 gallon tank. The tang is most likely discolored from stress. I have 2 powerheads and the output from the fluval 405 in my 29 gallon and it is not too much flow.

Thanks for info....what kind of food and technique should I use for feeding the polyps?
