Yellow Tang keeps eating the Feather dusters shell

Hi,

I have a question. How come my Yellow tang keeps eating my Feather dusters shell. I placed my feather duster very deep and my Tang still tries to fisnsh him of.

imo if you keep a clip with some nori that would keep his mind off the dusters

What does imo stand for and also nori. Sorry I can not understand the words.
I feed my Yellow tang every two days frozen food which also has garlic too.

yellow tangs are like cows they need to eat all day !! they eat vegies !! this is what most feed their tangs which they put on a clip and let him eat all day !!

for the long term health i would get some and feed him this you will find other fish love it as well so not just for the tang

Just to add my 2cents my tang enjoys the cubed frozen herbivorous stuff a lot. I use "Formula 2"

The Tangs have a really fast metabolism this is one of the reasons they want to eat so much.
