Now get to work! That looks like a fun project.

So sticking to my love of being different I picked up a skimmer...well actually I'm picking it up tomorrow. I found an ASM G2 for a VERY good price. It will work well on my system. I proved with my ASM G4X that they are pretty good skimmers and my system showed it did the job.

Eventually I may look at a different skimmer, things are going well at work and tomorrow may be one of the better days in my career...if the rumors hold true.

I'm hoping so because I want to buy a house soon!

Anyway as soon as I get the skimmer I will post pics. A few more things are on order including more LEDs to bring my total up to 36 for the system. I am still up in the air on how I want to configure the LEDs. I can't decide if I want to do two "bulb" style configurations or do a long strip. Any thoughts?

More to come....

I was being sarcastic because many people in the hobby look down their nose at the ASM series of skimmers.. I have had very good success with them and was glad to snatch this one up.

I believe that all skimmers are overrated by the number of gallons they can "skim" I dont agree with any of them. I'm not that stressed about performance for my skimmer as I plan to keep the stocking of this system very light by comparison to my 120g system I had.
