I have a zoanthid in my tank for a month and just moved it to the sandbed two nights ago when I had to move some rocks around to isolate a sick fish. Today, I found a piece had fallen off into the sand. Is this normal or did I damage it during the move. Can I pick this piece up and set it on the lr? Will it survive?

You could move it to somewhere else, just consider it a small zoa frag.

Thanks, it's my first coral in my first saltwater tank, so a lot of things are still mysterious to me :). Now my little frag is happily nestled in the lr.
