Zoanthid lighting

Is a dual bulb T5HO(48watts) enough lighting to grow zoanthids in a 55g long?

It depends on the zoanthids, but I do not think they will look as brilliant as you would want them to be. Closer to the top of the tank would be ok. Zoas are found in shallow waters, where the sun is strong.

Depends on the zoan type, you they adapt very quickly to different water flow and lighting color/strenght.

I have some red/brown zoans on the sans, they are colorfull, and the ones near my SPS is all pale, but still growing.... If your zoan opens, it means he's happy.

It takes few hours for them to adapt to new water (aquarium) and open.

How about the Eagle eyes? Would they do fine in the mid section of my tank?

They should do fine in the mid section of your tank. Eagle eyes are pretty forgiving for a zoanthid and can adapt rather quickly. I've had success with zoas in high and low light.
