Did your basement get flooded?

For the third time in 4 years, my patio became overflowed with water and flooded into my den next to it. We have pumps installed, but they are both not working. What a day to not work, eh? Just wondering if anyone else's house flooded after that massssssive downpour.

Thank goodness for being at a higher elevation however; when I left for work this morning, many of my neighbors at sea level were busy dumping and pumping water. That was quite a downpour anyway you measure it. Hope you get those pumps running.

I couldn't get to work today - no subway service on the Queens Blvd line because of flooding in Woodside. The LIRR was all messed up too.

A gigantic steam explosion completely fouled up the East side of Midtown Manhattan. Lexington Ave subway shut down between City HAll and 86th St.

Bill, this must have really screwed up your commute home!
